Responsibilities:

The Refrigeration Technician is generally responsible for assembling custom transport refrigerators, refrigerating, and testing in a production environment. Specifically, you will perform the following functions:

• Assemble various models and sizes of commercial truck transport refrigerators using panels and frames and hardware per work orders
• Build up the refrigeration line set to connect the components of the system, including the compressor and condensing unit
• Braze the line set connections
• Apply refrigerant to the system
• Install the system in the transport refrigerator, including cold plates, gauges, valves, wiring, and hardware
• Set up and test the completed refrigerator per specifications
• Troubleshoot leaks or other refrigeration system defects as necessary
• Take refrigerator off test, finish, and prepare for the shipping department
• Complete all relevant documentation related to assembly and test

Job requirements

• Solid work ethic - show up on time every day, advance notice for missing work, minimal non-productive time (eg excessive phone use), work well with others
• Refrigeration Certificate
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Able to pass a background check and a drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the US
