IABAS is currently looking for:
Full time Recruiter local to the Monterey region (e.g, Salinas and cities within 25 miles of Salinas) to join the team.
It is a hybrid remote position, with travel required upto 25%.

Agency History and Background:
IABAS for Families (Individualized ABA Services for Families), established May 2019, provides ABA (applied behavior analysis) services to families. The goal of IABAS for Families is to work with families on creating individualized plans for each client, considering the resources available to the family, including the time that the family can spend on treatment, and addressing other factors such as language requirements and cultural considerations. IABAS for Families ensures that families can have translators available promptly and as needed.
The goal of IABAS for Families is to support clients in their homes with one-to-one ABA services, taking into consideration social significant goals/ barriers, and tailoring programs that do not just work for the treatment team to implement but for the family to implement outside of ABA sessions.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience of 1-1.5 years as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
- Attend job fairs and careers events
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, university campuses
- Help the Recruiting team with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Contact new employees and ensure smooth onboarding process
- Conduct reference checks for approved candidates
- Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications that will best fit into the company culture and budget
- Use various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills,experience and aptitudes.
- Conduct interviews using online platforms
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
