This role is responsible for all recruitment efforts of the home office. The process of sourcing, recruiting, and selecting financial representatives is conducted and continuously improved by this individual. He or she has primary responsibility in the office to build high-level quality relationships in the community and to generate referrals and develop centers of influence (COIs). The Recruiter will utilize systems for working with high-level candidates looking for a career change from targeted professions. They are a member of the office leadership team and will be responsible to the team for achieving set activities and goals.
Responsibilities
- Master information regarding all aspects of the financial advisor career for the attraction experience for the Tysons office
- Build and develop effective referral sources with FRs/staff, develop productive centers of influence (COIs), and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e. referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
- Have weekly meetings to seek Recommendations and Introductions from external networks
- Review all connections received to determine eligibility for initial interviews
- Conduct all initial interviews of candidates received
- Build relationships with candidates through the attraction experience
Accountability & Tracking
- Maintain database of all recruiting & selection activity for the Internal Network Office on a daily basis
- Report weekly activity to leadership team
- Utilize internal office supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the attraction experience
- Participate in regular (weekly, monthly & quarterly) meetings with the leadership team
- Provide support to leadership team members for attraction & selection efforts
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years progressively responsible work experience, preferably in external recruiting, business development, sales & marketing or financial services
- Candidate generation skills, strong research skills and proven ability to connect with others
- Excellent Communication skills required, Energetic/Magnetic personality, Detail-Oriented, Outgoing, Networking & Public Speaking
- Social Media Savvy preferred
- Has an interest in growing as a high potential leader within our firm
