Job description
The Recruiter will support creating a positive candidate experience by relationship building with both hiring managers and active/potential candidates, screening/interviewing candidates, and understand best-fit for candidates and the department. This position is also responsible for all actions that assist in filling nonexempt and exempt positions such as pipelining candidates, sourcing passive candidates, utilizing appropriate advertisements, and employing other innovative ways to increase candidate numbers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and executes complete candidate onboarding, including but not limited to: Obtaining offer approval; extending verbal and formal offers for employment; conducting background checks and drug screenings; sending new hire announcements; mailing and collecting new hire paperwork
- Posts career opportunities via the applicant tracking system and job boards, and maintains open positions listing and job descriptions
- Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand the needs to fill the position
- Screens and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with internal interview team and hiring managers
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to determine offer details
- Support the department’s metric reporting by collaborating with other HR disciplines to ensure all information is accurate
- Assists with HR related projects and tasks as needed
What you'll need:
- A minimum of 4+ years of recruiting experience as a corporate Recruiter or in an agency environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience with an ATS is required, experience with ICIMS is preferred
- Experience in a high volume environment strongly preferred
Physical requirements/working conditions:
Sits at a computer station, meeting table or work desk for more than two-thirds of each day- Stands and walks to other stations and departments throughout the day
- Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment most of the day
- May stoop or crouch to access files or storage
- Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less with or without corrective lenses
- Hearing and speech within normal ranges and sufficient for clear communication face to face and especially via the telephone
- Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; lifts 25 pounds occasionally
- Exposed to noise levels typical of office environments
