SUMMER CAMP LEADER

Parks & Recreation Department, Seasonal Position

7 Week Camp Program, Trainings to be held the week of June 19th - June 23rd, 2023

Camp Dates: 6/26/23 - 8/11/23

Approximately 32.5 Hrs Per Week, M - F between the hours of 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM

STARTING SALARY (through 6/30/23): $14.00 P/Hour

POSITION RANGE (through 6/30/23): $14.00 - $14.50 P/Hour

STARTING SALARY (effective 7/1/23): $15.00 P/Hour

POSITION RANGE (effective 7/1/23): $15.00 - $15.50 P/Hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will enjoy working with children and have the desire and ability to work in a cooperative, team-orientated atmosphere. Must have a sense of humor and be enthusiastic, creative, patient, flexible, confident, and responsible. Must also have the ability to provide good customer service, communicate effectively, solve problems, and plan and lead recreational activities such as outdoor games, crafts, music, drama, sports, and special events. Experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Reliable daily attendance is required.
