Riverway Clinics has an opportunity for a casual Receptionist to work evenings and weekends at our Andover and Anoka Urgent Care locations.

Riverway Clinics are located in the north metro suburbs offering a small-town atmosphere within a short drive north of the Twin Cities and are part of the HealthPartners family of care.

The Receptionist position focuses on using customer service skills to promote a positive image to all patients and visitors that enter the clinic in accordance with departmental standards. Excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. (12/09/22)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, friendly and professional fashion.

o Provides a high level of customer service and service recovery, as needed.

o Acts individually and with others to meet patients' needs.

o Checks in patients in an accurate and professional manner.

o Verifies demographics and insurance information and collects copayments, as required.

o Verifies insurance eligibility, if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

o High School diploma or GED required.

o Completion of a medical office course or equivalent experience preferred.

o Previous clinic experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

o Must be organized and able to establish priorities

o Must be able to problem solve and recommend solutions

o Strong attention to detail

o Ability to communicate effectively

o Works productively as a team player

o Adapts positively to changes in the work environment

Work Schedule: Evenings and Weekends

Additional Information:

We require all colleagues to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless they have a HealthPartners-approved medical or religious exemption.
