Description
We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for positive first impressions with visitors and guests making contact with the organization through phone, in-person, and email. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

- Serve as the first point of reference for callers making phone inquiries, transfer calls, and greet walk-in visitors. Distribute voicemails to the correct departments.
- Responsible for outgoing mail and distribution of incoming mail, including UPS, USPS, and FedEx; also serve as the receiver for customers dropping off computer equipment for repair.
- Perform statement reconciliations and other accounting and clerical duties as assigned.
- Assist with event scheduling including room reservations and set up/tear down, ordering food and beverages
- Manage company orders for clothing and distribution to employees; order logo’d forms.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED and experience answering a multi-line switchboard.
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and visitors with diverse backgrounds.
- Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs as well as the ability to learn other programs and systems used within the organization.
- Must have strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks and frequent interruptions with the skill to prioritize workload accordingly.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
