ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Supervises and coordinates all shift activities of assigned production area(s) engaged in the manufacture of wire and cable products by performing the following duties personally or through employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews scrap inventories to ascertain product data such as: types, quantities, and

schedules pickup and delivery dates. Makes necessary revisions as necessary.

• Plans scrap loads to processors from MXOPEN or physical inventories.
• Request quotes from processors—reject or accepts quotes.
• Manages scrap inventories through MXOPEN and physical inventories.
• Enters scrap transactions into the MXOPEN system.
• Prepares PS and BOL either from MXOPEN or handwritten.
• Schedules outgoing and incoming freight with freight companies.
• Reconciles month end inventories and weekly cycle counts.
• Invoice scrap loads and log in spreadsheet.
• Makes personnel assignments, maintains housekeeping and safety standards, interprets.

• Enforces rules, resolves worker complaints and problems, and submits unresolved.
