PRECLOSER
Precloser must be extremely organized, professional, team-oriented, and able to communicate professionally with clients effectively via telephone and email. Must have excellent verbal and written skills, work ethic, and attention to details and deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Open Files in the Softpro select system.
- Order title from the Title Examination company.
- Confirms Contact information of all parties of the transaction is properly and fully input into Softpro.
- Follows and completes each Requested Task set forth in Softpro to accurately prepare the file for closing.
- Communicates with the Borrower, Seller, Real Estate Broker, and Title Company to request specified documents, such as receipt for payment of outstanding tax bill.
- Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents, such as title abstract and insurance forms.
- Calls borrower, broker, and other specified individuals to arrange time and date for closing.
- Answers questions regarding closing requirements.
- Works closely with the Attorneys to clear title.
- Orders payoffs and estoppel letters with good through dates past the settlement closing date.
- Ensures accuracy of title commitment and submits the commitment to lenders.
- Produces documents prior to closing for buyers and sellers to facilitate completion of closing files.
