JOB SUMMARY
The Radiologic Technologist II will contribute to accurate and timely diagnosis of patients' medical condition by performing all routine diagnostic studies, including CT scans, Mammography, and bone densitometry. They will perform all radiographic exams with stationary and mobile equipment producing optimum radiographic images, assess patient/significant other's understanding of the procedure, providing the appropriate level of education, and evaluate patient's physiological status, applying appropriate interventions as needed.
The CT Technologist responsibilities will contribute to accurate and timely diagnosis of patient's medical condition by performing all CT scans both Diagnostic and Interventional procedures independently, producing optimum CT Imaging studies, assessing patient/significant other's understanding of the procedure, providing the appropriate level of education, and evaluating patient's physiological status, applying appropriate interventions as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Graduate of approved AMA School of Radiology
- Valid State of Maine license required
- National registration with ARRT required
- Must fulfill mandatory CEU requirement
- BLS certification require
Experience:
- 1-year previous experience preferred
Other Skills Require:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to rotate to off-site imaging locations
- Phlebotomy as required
