Michiana Hematology Oncology (MHO), the largest oncology-hematology practice in Northwest Indiana, is recruiting a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join the team.
MHO has been a pillar in the community for over 50 years and has grown to have to 9 locations, serving our patients. Medical Oncology services are provided at all 9 locations while Radiation Oncology services are provided at the primary site as well as two satellite sites. POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Join a team of respected board certified Medical and Radiation Oncologists with a commitment to collaborate to deliver outstanding patient care, contribute to innovative therapies, emerging treatment approaches and expanding diagnostic options
- Practice at the primary site, Mishawaka, IN or satellite sites in Plymouth, IN or Westville, IN.
- Work with Infinitt, Varian, Eclipse, Mosaiq and Epic software
- Radiation Machines - Varian Linac and Trilogy linear accelerator
- Support from a team of physics, dosimetrist, RNs and MA
- Practice evidence-based medicine in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
- Contribute to an unmatched patient care experience that treats patients with the same level of care you would want for your loved ones.
- Confirm diagnoses, develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress
- Participate in tumor board meetings with collaborating providers in the various communities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
- Open to new graduates. Prefer minimum of 3 years practicing as a Radiation Oncologist
- Completion of a radiation oncology residency program.
- Board eligible or certified Radiation Oncologist
- Indiana Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start date
