Job Duties / Responsibilities:

· Documented Incoming inspection on quality critical raw materials per requirements & customer specifications.

· In-Process quality inspections (start-up & hourly) to include Offset, Silk-Screen, Die-Cutting, Stamping, Embossing, Finishing, T/L.

· Quality Testing following internal and customer requirements.

· Create, identify, distribute, and manage customer and in house color books.

· Pull samples for standards as required by customer.

· Maintain sample retains in a well-organized filing system.

· File and maintain Quality History folders, following the sequence of manufacturing.

· File and maintain FSC incoming inspection folders.

· Prepare COC’s & COA’s as per customer requirements.

· Follow plant safety rules and posted McLean Packaging policies, including COVID-19.

Skills / Qualifications:

· Strong verbal communication

· Excellent interpersonal skills as the position requires daily contact with Managers, Planners, and Plant Personnel.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent organizational skills

· Self-motivated

· Little supervision required.

· Quality Management System knowledge.

o Procedure development

· Computer Software Knowledge – Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, Q-Pulse)

Additional Responsibilities:

· Promote, participate in, and support the Quality Management System (QMS). Continuously seek to improve processes and eliminate product and process non-conformances.

· Assist quality manager in continuous improvement initiatives.

· Develop a complete understanding of customer specs.

· Develop a complete understanding of quality testing and test equipment.

· Monitor in-house sorting activities and report out.

Personnel development - Continued quality education classes.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
