ATI Decorative Laminates (ATI) (www.atilaminates.com) of Greensboro, North Carolina was founded in 1979. We manufacture and distribute beautiful decorative surfacing products which are sold in over 50 countries around the world. We are an ISO certified company (9001 and 14001). We are seeking an individual that will be responsible for understanding our products and our customers’ needs so that they can maintain and develop strategies to further solidify our reputation as a provider of quality products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; others may be assigned.

• Facilitates, develops and implements processes to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and safety of operations. Conducts system, compliance with surveillance audits.

• Develops staff and production personnel to perform in a lean environment of continuous improvement.

• Leads the International Standardization Organization (ISO) certification and compliance for ATI.

• Develops training methods and fosters a culture of continuous improvement by effectively using all means of training/communication to meet agency objectives.

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Quality Control:

• Investigates customer complaints and collaborates with other members of production management to determine root causes of complaints

• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for all quality issues within the company. Helps to identify and resolve problems related to Quality Control.

• Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and data for analysis of production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.

• Is responsible for the leading the weekly Quality Management System and Environmental Management System (EMS) meetings.

• Works with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from our suppliers and also coordinates with accounting to ensure credits and debits are handled effectively.

• Communicates quality concerns to our vendors and works till completion to resolve any discrepancies.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

• Complies with all ATI employment policies, procedures/processes and programs. Performs duties in compliance with quality, ISO 9001 and ISO 140001, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes and programs.

• Contributes to the company’s goals of total quality and cost improvement.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards the company, Management, other Associates and clients/customers. Participates in assigned activities, assignments and projects to further elevate the company’s vision, values and team spirit.

• Assists and supports others in the achievement of ATI’s and department’s goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Quality Management System and: 4 years (Preferred)
• Environmental Management System (EMS): 3 years (Preferred)
• supervisory/quality experience in manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• leading ISO 9001 audit: 5 years (Preferred)
