Our Company invites applications for the position of Quality Compliance Specialist for our Morristown, TN Oral Care Facility. This position will work within a structure that requires considerable interaction with Making, Planning, Production, Warehousing, Engineering, and R&D.
What You Will Do:
This position is responsible for the support and implementation of the focused site validation master plan, leading our site’s consumer complaint program, investigating consumer complaints and ensuring the necessary change controls are documented and approved prior to execution of changes. This position will also support the internal audit program, ensuring all products are properly registered and listed with the FDA and will conduct positive product releases for the Oral Care focused facility, leading the site’s Corrective and Preventative Actions program. This role will also act as the back-up to the Compliance Supervisor for finished product releases for the Oral Care strategic site as necessary per FDA Regulations for OTC, cosmetics, and prescription products. The position incumbent must deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations.
The initial accountabilities of this role include developing the Master Validation Plan in alignment with the Quality, Engineering, Operations and Planning teams; Change Control Activities for the site; and developing site standard operating policies and procedures. The hired incumbent must be an effective and valuable member of the Quality team to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results in their area.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering (Chemical or Industrial), or related technical field OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a non-technical field with relevant work experience;
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a regulated environment;
- Ability to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends or holidays as needed or required;
- Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 21CFR Parts 11, 210, and 211.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical industry (i.e. FDA, EPA, OSHA, etc);
- Strong interpersonal and training skills;
- Experience in development and execution of Validation Master Plans, Management of Change, and CAPA Systems;
- Experience using SAP or other plant ERP related software system;
- Working knowledge of Prescription Drug Marketing Act and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) Regulations;
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Good communication and writing skills.
Salary Range $70,400 - $103,950 USD
Pay is based on several non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
