Shift Mon - Friday (Rotating Shift, 8 to 10+ hours) $18.50 an hour

Green Rabbit is a fast-growing company looking for highly motivated members to add to its Quality Assurance team. We are currently looking for 1 Quality Assurance Technician.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for executing specific food safety and package checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure all parameters of food safety and quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.

· Verify packages is assembled correctly and that packaging did not shift out of place.

· Verify thermal orders are not over iced (gel pack and dry ice).

· Verify shipping label is readable, applied correctly and not torn on packages.

· Verify gel pack is on the bottom of JoJo’s chocolate orders.

· Verify packing slip corresponds with actual product in package (if applicable).

· Verify cartonization is correct (using smallest box size possible).

· Verify that only FedEx 1 day, UPS 1 day, UPS next day (1 day zones) for thermal and all non-thermal orders are going out on Thursday and Fridays.

· Verify ice is in poly bags when shipping with cardboard products (for example One Brands).

· Verify UN1845 dry ice exterior sticker is on all dry ice packages.

· Verify dry ice packages contains Green Rabbit’s dry ice warning insert.

· Verify perishable stickers are applied on fresh and frozen orders.

· Verify the kg value of dry ice is written on the UN1845 dry ice exterior sticker.

· Verify dry ice is placed on top of product.

· Conduct other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1+ year experience working in field or similar manufacturing environment

· 1+ years of experience working in a Quality Control/Technician role

· 1+ years experience managing people/projects

· Knowledge of computer systems excel, word

· Experience may include a combination of work experience and education

· Must read, write and communicate in English.

· Must be able to work 8 to 10 hour shift (days or nights) on a rotating schedule

· Must follow GMP Policy

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum Required: High School Diploma

· Preferred: 1 year of QA lead experience

· Certification/License: Required: HACCP SQF
