As a Quality Assurance Operations Manager, You will closely work with engineering and operations teams to ensure product quality and to ensure that customer's get what they want when they want. You will understand the big picture from raw materials to final packaged product. You will understand and establish critical quality checkpoints to ensure product quality.

This critical role is part of Amazon’s team focused on building new, large-scale solutions aimed at creating positive impact in the world. Key job responsibilities
  • Demonstrated record of establishing quality assurance and quality control mechanisms to ensure product traceability and control.
  • Responsible for ensuring that appropriate quality assurance systems such as NCMRs, MRB, Planned Deviation, CAPA are utilized appropriately.
  • Establish production control mechanisms (e.g. SPC) to ensure product is manufactured properly.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production records.

  • Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
  • Experience in chemical, electrical, and mechanical manufacturing processes
  • Ability to identify quality risks and develop solution to mitigate risks quickly
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computerized software for the management of quality systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $228,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
