About the role:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Quality Inspector. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that our electronic assemblies meet IPC Industry Standards and are of optimal quality. Your duties will include performing in-process visual verification, providing feedback to operators, and documenting any discrepancies. We have both 1st and 2nd shift positions available.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Obtaining and maintaining IPC credentials required for the position
• Ensuring quality at the production line level using spot-inspection, sampling, and 1st-piece verification
• Spending long periods of time using a microscope
• Verifying compliance of in-process material against Customer and Industry Standards
• Accurately recording and collecting documentation
• Escalating systemic issues to Quality and Manufacturing Engineering
• Supporting first-piece verification runs with accompanying documents
• Documenting non-conformities to the process and specifications
• Initiating regular quality line-audits to ensure all documentation, consumables, and tooling are within check
• Advocating proper ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention
• Operating appropriate inspection equipment such as AOI and XRAY

• Strong documentation abilities
• Computer literacy
• Experience working in an Electronics / SMT manufacturing facility
• Industry-relevant quality inspection or control experience

Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience
• IPC-A-610 certification

$17 - $20 / hr
