Remi Vista, Inc. is recruiting for a Quality Assurance/Compliance Officer in the Humboldt or Redding locations
The Quality Assurance/Compliance Officer reports directly to the Executive Director/CEO and works with the “Leadership Team” to implement monitor and improve quality and safety measures for both client/consumers and Remi Vista employees and offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee the company’s process for chart audits.
- Review at least 20% of Mental Health Charts and 30% of TBS charts using DMH guidelines. Additional parameters established by Leadership Team.
- Review TBS cases of over 6 months to review for continued need and approval for services.
- Provide District Directors and Program Managers with summary of findings of chart reviews, including a corrective action
- Collect documentation of corrections at successive visits and report to Leadership Team.
- Implement a system for the assessment and resolution of client grievances and / or complaints in coordination with County Plans.
- Recommend and implement needed changes based on the results of the surveys and complaints / grievances.
- Oversee the review of all Foster Care (Parent & Client) files for accuracy and adherence to Title 22 & Alliance certification guidelines on a quarterly basis.
- Review all Group Home Client Files for accuracy and adherence to Title 22 & Alliance certification guidelines on an annual basis.
- Oversee the credential verification process of service delivery staff.
- Monitor and assess client and family satisfaction.
- Provide Leadership Team with report on Regions adherence to HIPAA Compliance Program.
- Implement CQI Committee recommendations.
- Any other job related duties that may be assigned by the Leadership Team.
Safety Compliance:
- Represent Remi Vista as the agency’s Safety Officer
- Represent Remi Vista as the agency’s Infection Control Officer
- Work in conjunction with Safety Captains from each region to complete site walk-through and evaluate the safety of the facilities on an annual basis.
- Develop and maintain Remi Vista’s Safety Program
- Annually review and submit to the Leadership Team for approval the following plans: Injury Illness & Prevention Program, Environment of Care, Emergency Management & Response, and the Infection Prevention & Control Plan
- Monitor regional adherence to core Safety Trainings and the Safety Program.
- Lead the agency’s Quarterly Safety Committee Meeting
Reporting:
- Quarterly reporting on Safety and Quality to the Leadership Team
- Report any chart audit findings on a monthly basis
- Annually review and submit to the Leadership Team a Continuous Quality Improvement Plan
- Report to the Joint Commission any required information to maintain Accreditation

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Master’s Degree preferred. Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage & Family Therapist preferred. Bachelors Degree with one or two years related experience or combination acceptable.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current CA. Driver's License. Must be insurable under the agency's current insurance carrier.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
