Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be employed by an EIDBI provider agency

• Be a physician, advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), developmental or behavioral pediatrician or licensed mental health professional as defined in Minn. Stat. §245I.04, subd. 2

• Be able to provide treatment within their scope of practice and license.

• Must be a certified/licensed BCBA/ABA

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges with ABA.

• Must have:

• At least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition
• Completed the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university (must be documented in one of the following areas: ASD or a related condition treatment strategies or child development, ASD or a related condition diagnostics)

• Be able to provide treatment within their scope of practice and license.

• Must be a certified/licensed BCBA/ABA

Education:

• Master's in Behavior Analysis, Psychology or Education (required)

License/Certification:

• BCBA
