Job description

The purchasing agent is responsible for ordering products, services, and raw materials for the company. Will be working with manufacturers, retail chains, or wholesale companies.

Responsibilities
- Main point of contact for all phone sales. (Provide payment over the phone)
-Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
-Process requests from Project managers for orders with our vendors
- Prepare and submit detailed reports (availability, costs, shipping costs and eta.)
- Keep updated records to provide the billing dept
- Direct liaison for ReNew Your Floors - our flooring division (place orders and direct contact in our showroom)
- Book travel, hotel accommodations and car rentals for traveling subcontractors

Requirements and skills
- Experienced as a purchasing agent or relevant role
-Knowledge to research products and purchasing best practices
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Outstanding organizational skills, multi tasking and prioritizing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability
