Pay: $18-$24/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: 8am to 5pm (Mon - Fri)

DESCRIPTION

The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for analyzing and monitoring the pricing, availability, and delivery of purchased products and services. This position works closely with vendors and internal departments to ensure the highest quality of products and services at the most advantageous prices.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and compare pricing and delivery terms from vendors to ensure best value for the company

• Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers

• Monitor stock levels and reorder merchandise when necessary

• Create new Items and BOMs as required by Customer Service or Operations

• Maintain logbook of planned PO deliveries and communicate upcoming deliveries to Operations & Logistics

• Prepare and review purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce purchasing costs

• Monitor industry trends and developments to identify potential suppliers

• Maintain accurate records and databases of all purchasing activities

• Prepare reports and presentations on purchasing activities

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field or 3+ years of purchasing experience

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong communication, negotiation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
