Touchstone Services, Inc. a 501(c)3, non-profit agency, is seeking a highly motivated full-time Clubhouse Director for the Opportunity Center in Bay City, MI.

The Clubhouse Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the Clubhouse, working side-by-side with staff and members
  • Promoting the mission of the Clubhouse within the clubhouse community as well as in the area’s human service and business communities
  • Public relations and marketing
  • Timely completion of documentation
  • Work in units and TE placements as needed
  • May assist in transportation
  • Managing staff (including volunteers and/or students), including hiring, scheduling, mentoring, supervising, and evaluating
  • Quality assurance through maintaining accreditation activities and meeting contractual expectations
  • Fiscal oversight of the program
  • Maintaining communication with referral/funding sources, Advisory Board, agency Administrative Team, Clubhouse Michigan Coalition, etc.
  • Operating the Opportunity Center within the Michigan Medicaid, CI Standards, Michigan Mental Health Code, and contractual obligations
  • Assist staff in the day-to-day operation of the Clubhouse
  • Manage and intervene in situations that require supervisory input (crises, conflicts, grievances, etc.)
  • Maintain financial records and prepare materials for audits.
  • Participate as a member of the Advisory Board
  • Participate as a member of the agency Administrative Team
  • Participating in fund-raising efforts
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications include:

  • Licensure or registration by a State or National organization to provide health care services – Master’s Degree preferred. Consideration of bachelor's degree with excellent expereince
  • Strong preference for individuals with Clubhouse experience
  • Ability to motivate and successfully engage others through facilitation and consensus-building
  • Demonstrated management skills
  • Experience working with people recovering from severe and persistent mental illness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be flexible, comfortable managing muktiple priorities, and working in a hands-on environment
  • Positive attitude and the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Computer skills
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record
  • Criminal background check and drug testing required
