We need a proposal writer to respond to Requests for Proposals ("RFP’s") in the public transit sector. You don’t need experience in public transit.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Writing Background
• Great Reading Comprehension
• Book Smart (as evidenced through good grades, standardized tests and/or assessments)
• Highly organized
• Strong ability to work through complex tasks with Deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience Writing Proposals/Grants
• Ability to format documents
• Understanding of technology in order to help digitize processes and streamline production

RTW Management, Inc. is experiencing strong growth providing fixed route transportation (busing) and Paratransit services to Federal, Municipal and Private customers.

In this role, you’ll work directly with the President and have a meaningful impact on the Company’s business development process. This role is exciting but can also require intense effort around bid submittal time. The position also requires organization and attention to detail.

Here are the main tasks in order of importance: Assist in the proposal process, including:

• Write Proposals
• Format Exhibits and Final Document
• Verify compliance with all proposal requirements
• Create content library and other time saving strategies
• Organize archive of proposals and RFPs
• Apply for required licenses, performance bonds etc. required by RFP
• Maintain list of upcoming contracts and their expiration dates
• Review and screen RFP’s
• Find attractive Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) through GovWin software
• Research on the web and other avenues to find attractive contracts
• Assisting in other administrative tasks and company projects as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
