As the Digital Marketing Project Specialist for Staples, you will support the executional responsibilities of integrated media campaigns. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing key components of our paid media strategy including display/audio/video maintenance, campaign development, audience research and planning, and vehicle performance monitoring and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Staples Media team members to ensure that vehicles are effectively meeting planned marketing KPIs for Staples' US Retail priorities.
- Manage multiple executional responsibilities to plan, launch and report on key media channels delivering audio and video ads. Essential components include creative trafficking/ad operations, budget/invoice management, cross-channel media activations and media activity tracking and reporting/data collection
- Partner with marketing team members to deliver campaign creative on spec and on time with program launches
- Engage regularly with external media Agencies of Record and media vendors
- Provide summaries of planned vs actual media budget and activity with YoY views, supplying needs for seasonal reporting as well as weekly marketing trackers
- Respond to requests from internal stakeholders regarding various media activity, YOY changes and impact
- Support the management of key media team budget documents related to tracking planned and actual spend including the process of submitting invoices for reconciliation.
- Activate national and local (Growth Markets) media campaigns based on recurring and ad hoc priorities of the business
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in marketing, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years marketing or media experience
- Experience working with or working at a media agency
- Experience with all/most media channels (i.e., digital and offline media)
- Expertise in data analysis, especially distinguishing meaningful insights and trends vs white noise
- Knowledge of marketing technologies & tools (e.g., web analytics, tag management, ad servers, attribution, etc.)
