We are currently seeking a Project Program Senior Director to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are currently seeking an experienced transition business architect to be part of a complex business transition.

Individual must have extensive experience in the life insurance industry and a background in driving business architecture. This person will align deliverables with strategic goals as part of a major program.

Responsibilities and Additional Requirements:

• Well-developed soft power personal style which has been used effectively across an organization to provide the right balance of challenge and support
• Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship-building dynamics and processes
• Extensive management experience in a strategy and/or transformation environment plus demonstrable experience in the insurance industry
• Outstanding presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications
• Understanding of business goals (tactical and strategic) and drives development and implementation of business solutions
• Driving projects to optimize business processes and develop
• Work with Delivery Executive in the development of plans for the projects assigned across the program
• Develop with Head of Strategy and Delivery Teams best practices focused on transition of new clients into the organization and build the repeatable processes to support growth
• Actively manage the work efforts of functional resources through the project plan and manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning
• Manage and maintain good communication across team members, leadership and stakeholders across multiple business units
• Participate in business development activities associated with the growth of the business units this includes: Participation in due diligence, collaborate in responses for RFI
• Develops the readiness of the organization for new implementations and transitions
• Co-Manages the program performance (e.g., delivery on commitments, quality, responsiveness, reliability) and financial performance (e.g., business case) expectations.
• Establishes and maintains appropriate relationships with Solution Development, Solution Operations, and Business Sponsors. Acts as a focal point for assigned project-related activities.
• Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise
• Knowledge of Agile methodology or Scrum framework
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 + years of experience in the Life and Annuity domain
• Experience managing large transition programs from carrier to a TPA
• 8 plus years in Program/Project Management role/practice
• Understanding of nearshore and offshore delivery model
• Experience guiding IT delivery teams to set direction on business solutions specifically in enterprise solutions such as Workflow, images, business process automation, deployment of surround solutions
• Experience translating business needs/processes and required workflow automation to Information Technology teams
