Project Manager

Position Overview:

Western Engineering is looking for an individual with supervisory experience and working in an outdoor and safety conscious environment. You must be dependable and willing to work flexible hours as schedule demands with night work being possible in some jobs.

This is a supervisor position requiring flexibility in that you will be responsible for day to day project operation management including :

• scheduling of projects assigned including crews and trucks

• Communications with project owner / field representative for project status, issues or questions.

• Crew and equipment status with Crew Supervisor

• utilizing 811 resources for utility locates

• reporting to company operations manager

• project per-construction / scheduling meetings

Requirements:

• Successfully pass employment drug screening testing

• Leadership / Supervision experience

• Must have a valid driver’s license

-Willing to travel through out Nebraska and Iowa as required by project assignment / location

-Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.

• Must be self-motivated

-Must be willing to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends.

• Understanding / willing to learn of project documentation such project plans, specifications, change orders
