About The Role
The project manager position is responsible to facilitate all customer requests from sales, which include:
- Quoting the project
- Facilitating artwork
- Call meetings with key team members to determine the best way to approach a new project to have a successful outcome
- Communicating with our production team (North America and Asia) about details of the project in order to get what we need
- Building items into our system
Ultimately, you will be working with sales to get whatever the client needs so they choose to work with Contempo. This sometimes requires resourcefulness and creative problem solving.
In our organization, we have many inquiries flowing in and a hungry sales team. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast paced environment and is not afraid to work hard. You would work with our art department and also our supply chain and manufacturing team to help determine when we need to receive a customer order in order to meet the customers target delivery date.
Most importantly, you will be the one to communicate with our local and overseas production facilities to make sure all details of the project are understood completely and thoroughly by all parties, so there is zero confusion. This requires someone who is very good with details.
Finally, we want our sales people to be able to focus on winning new projects and the project manager will make sure that all the details are covered properly and delivered back to the customer on-time.
