The Enterprise Program Manager is a critical and unique role, as she/he will be responsible for adding value to the entire EngageSmart entity by driving the top 1-3 strategic projects for the company at any given time. This is a highly strategic and tactical role and requires a highly resourceful individual with high emotional intelligence and self-motivation, strong operational, support, product, organizational, communication and hands-on, problem-solving skills. This role reports to the Director of Strategy and Operations.

The Enterprise Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the timely execution of company strategy by driving critical programs leveraging project & portfolio management standards across EngageSmart Enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations, this role will lead positive organizational change by being a facilitator and evangelists of PMO methodologies throughout the company. The role requires a highly resourceful individual able to quickly shift from strategic thinking to hands-on execution while working effectively across multiple solutions and cross-functional teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Drive the cross functional programs for the company's top strategic projects
- Maintain action items and deliverables, and ensure the completion of these for assigned projects
- Own documentation, communication, coordination, and status of projects for primary and executive stakeholders; drive a sdingle source of truth for these top strategic initiatives
- Maintain timeline, milestones, deliverables, change requests, and keeping projects on track
- Schedule, drive, and record notes on all major project meetings
- Raise risks to timeline and deliverables in a clear, transparent, and timely manner
- Provide recurring project status updates and milestones, including managing project governance structure and cadence
- Pragmatically ensure efficient use of company resources and drive accountability across business functions in the programs you manage.
- Become an advocate for PMO and Lean principles within EngageSmart Enterprise
Qualifications & Competencies
- 5+ years of experience leading and delivering on complex projects
- Highly organized with ability to build and manage many projects at once, identify and clearly communicate all dependencies
- Strong and experienced in fostering positive and non-adversarial relationships
- Strong organizational aptitude and ability to build relationships and bridge gaps across functions
- Ability to manage a project that has tasks across functions, ability to take over as SME/POC for multiple functions as the program sees fit
- Clear and transparent communication style. Ability to "speak the language" of every function, including finance, marketing, HR, sales, engineering, product, IT.
- Ability to document, follow, continuously improve, and innovate complex processes with diligence
- Ability to pragmatically solve difficult problems with data driven decision making
- Ability to understand, document, and drive management of costs associated with a program
- Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty
- No prior industry experience needed but certainly welcome and highly valued
- Willing and take on a project that has already started
- Strong project management experience and background
- Comfortable working with multiple remote teams
- Experience with the following tools: Jira, Teams, Box, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Recommendation #6: Resource should be a self-starter, and self-managed.
- Some PMP/Lean/Six Sigma coursework or Certification
- Thrives in fast paced environments, prioritizing agility, and willingness to act.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
Base Compensation Range: $114,320.75 - $139,098 annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission and equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
