Your role at Baxter

The Program Manager (PgM) is a field-based role, responsible for leading a variety of programs including IDNs. This is a role that requires program/project management and problem-solving experience. The PgM will partner with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation Delivery PMO, Technical Support and the customer to ensure all parties are aligned on implementation and program expectations. This role plays an integral part in planning IDN Program roadmaps and customer attainment strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Leads multiple programs, ensuring successful program delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Implement program management playbooks, methodologies, processes, and standards that align with industry best practices and support the large customer IDNs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that program expectations are aligned.

  • Communicate program statuses, progress, and issues to Manager of the PgMO and cross functional teams.

  • Serves as a layer of escalation between the customer and the ID PMO Managers to help support the ID project managers.

  • Identify and handle program risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Communicates program statuses, progress, and issues to both internal and external partners.

  • Travel 0-10%.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, business, or related industry

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project/ program management.

  • Experience developing and implementing program management methodologies and standards.

  • Hospital Construction experience, preferred.

  • Track record for implementing successful program strategies.

  • PMP or other industry related certification(s) a plus.

  • Possess a high level of Care Comm specific organizational, process and product knowledge.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a wide range of audiences.

  • Strong leadership and mentor skills, with a track record of developing strong teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

  • Strong understanding of project/program management tools, techniques, and standard processes.

  • Strong project/program management software skills (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Kantata, etc.).

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $68,000 - $156,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
