Job description
The role of the Director of the Justice and Mental Health Program is to support the Richland County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (RCCJCC) and manage efforts in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the county’s criminal justice system. This position has the responsibility for overseeing the operation of all research efforts emanating from the Justice and Mental Health Grant and the RCCJCC and requires an extremely high degree of independent judgment and initiative.
Education Requirements:
Requires a Masters of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or Criminology.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of at least one (1) year of experience with statistics and data analysis. Professional, extensive experience in project or system management. Progressive upper level administrative experience, including fiscal, grants, organizational and research/policy analysis. Strong preference for experience with local justice system transformation efforts. Experience in the public sector, governing boards and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships is strongly encouraged.
