Divine House has opening for a Program Coordinator/Supervisory position with day hours working in our adult foster care house in Moorhead MN. Must have experience working working as a direct care staff or in a supervisory roll. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Minnesota background check .

Qualifications:
Must have the ability to effectively communicate and work under the direction of a variety of other professionals. A Supervisor must possess problem solving skills and have a strong desire to help others.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To serve as a vital link in the communication and coordination of services with the person, their expanded support team, and administration to ensure continuity of care.
• To provide supervision of direct support staff to ensure the health, safety and protection of rights of each person you oversee and implementation of the responsibilities assigned to the License Holder in the Coordinated Service and Support Plan and support plan addendum
• Advocate and provide support to promote the needs, interests, and preferences of the person(s) served

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) must possess basic problem solving skills, have a strong desire to help others, and the desire to improve the quality of life of the individuals they are working with. An DSP is responsible for following/implementing an individual’s plans, assist in activities of daily needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, etc., assisting in instrumental activities of daily living such as shopping, food prep, laundry, etc., and medication administration. A DSP must have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing within the house as well as within the company departments and document in the necessary records. DSPs must also perform daily duties and responsibilities as assigned, such as but not limited to: housekeeping duties, household errands, appointments, shopping, and leisure activities. Each house can vary in the needs of each individual served.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
