We have a Production Supervisor opening at our Company Headquarters, located in Fridley, MN. We are looking for Supervisor to oversee our assembly and dyno department.

The Production Supervisor will be an instrumental player in the day-to-day execution of key operations strategies and tactics to manufacture quality products which meet or exceed customer quality and delivery expectations. This individual is a key member of the plant manager’s leadership team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Leadership of a production department and its daily operations.
· Manage daily flow through the department and work with internal suppliers and customers to achieve smooth production throughout the plant.
· Collaborate to implement and sustain Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics to ensure they are driving expected behavior and results.
· Mentor, coach, and empower department team leads and employees to gain alignment and reach team and individual business results.
· Lead implementation, practice, and sustainment of fundamental lean principles and tools such as 5S, standard work, leader standard work, hour by hour boards, visual metrics, and management, etc.
· Actively manage employee training and rotation plans to increase individual and team proficiency and flexibility.
· Comply with company and department policies procedures, applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
· 5+ years of formal leadership/supervising experience within a department or group.
· 5+ year of manufacturing experience
· caliper, micrometer, quality measurement experience is a plus.
-ability to use hand and power tools
· Problem solving and conflict resolution experience.
· Lean / Continuous improvement experience required
· Strong customer service, negotiations skills, and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the company.
· Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
· Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
