Production Artist
Role Summary:
Unleashed Brands is currently seeking a production artist to join our Marketing Services team. This position will work within the design team as well as Unleashed Brands cross-functional collaboration partners to bring our family of brands to life! The ideal team player would be a creative, computer savvy, graphical expert. Whether you are working on print production or digital design, you create an awesome finished product that meets organizational branding goals. You are a meticulous and goal-oriented artist and designer with a keen eye for the smallest detail. You can move a concept from graphic to print or video. You are an excellent communicator and inter-departmental collaborator. You’re a skilled listener who can execute a concept. At Unleashed Brands, we’re always ready for takeoff so you must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our design team, and cross-functional partners
- Assisting design teams in producing print, packaging, advertising, point-of-purchase, and digital graphics
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
- Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
- Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
- Proofing graphic materials before the product is marked as complete
- Prepare images for online and mobile applications
- Catalog and reference art for future projects
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise with the design team or any cross-functional collaborator
- Creating and manipulating graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; Microsoft Word, PPT, as specific needs arise
- Proofing graphic materials before the product is marked as complete

- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling
- Experience contributing to collaborative projects
- Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, Word Suite and emerging technologies
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Proven Proficiency with understanding of production process; capable of taking design from concept to production
- Thrives working in a lively, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt and adjust pace and schedules to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and software applications and processes
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and possess strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and collaborate with other team members effectively
- A portfolio of work that showcases print and digital proficiency
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years graphic design and production experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, After effects is a plus
- Clear and compelling written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Agency experience preferred, In-House agency experience a plus
- Experience in franchising preferred
