What will you do?

In this position, you will design, draft and plan project-type equipment according to due dates and priority, and expedite those same orders by coordinating between Sales and the Manufacturing floor as needed. Workflow organization and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & draft belt conveyor components including but not limited to Conveyor Pulleys & Idlers as well as Made-To-Order products using AutoCAD Inventor
  • Plan orders using production resources and communication with Sales
    • Set B.O.M. and work routing through the Shop in our newly implemented ERP system (MS Dynamics AX)
  • Assist the lead engineer with new product development projects
  • Use MS Office Suite programs to maintain workflow
  • Opportunity to cross-train for future career growth
  • 20% of the time may be spent in the shop environment.
  • Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (related Majors also considered.)
  • Experience with planning orders in a manufacturing industry strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability in time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD Inventor 3D modeling or related software preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills. Experience in Excel and Access programming is favored.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication with all levels of employee
  • Reliability and Accuracy are key to this position
  • Must be able to follow the company timekeeping policies
  • Team player
