What We Do:
The Research & Statistics Group provides analytic support for the Bank's responsibilities relating to monetary policy, banking supervision, payments systems, and financial market issues. In addition to contributing to the formulation and execution of policy in these areas, our economists conduct independent research on a wide range of topics. Our experts deliver some of the most valuable data to financial decision makes across the Federal Reserve System and serve as a consulting body for teams seeking to increase data resiliency and improve data efficiency.
As a member of the Product Strategy and Support team, your job will be to facilitate the delivery of and the use of technology by Research Economists, Research Analysts and Group Shared Services team members.
You will report to the Chief Product Owner for Research.
Your Role as a Product Analyst:

Support an agile product team throughout the product lifecycle from inception through retirement. Perform industry, business, and technical analysis; contributes to product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization in line with business objectives.

Define features, sets standards for quality, and works closely within squad(s) to ensure business value is achieved and user feedback is translated into new developments

Contribute to defining product vision and roadmaps with measurable outcomes; works with technology partners to ensure integration to the Bank technology roadmap and drive alignment with product interdependencies.

Develop messaging and communication artifacts around product vision and delivery for stakeholder briefings

Work within delivery squad/s to deliver products including definition of feature requirements, prioritization and sequencing, coordination of product demos and user feedback sessions, and rollout management

Apply findings from customer research and product design to backlog prioritization decisions

Design and execute user acceptance testing approach and scripts; provides oversight and coordination through deployment planning

Monitor and communicate product-specific operational KPIs once a product enters production and provide expert insights for improvement opportunities
What we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner. Required or understanding of blockers and delivery risk within respective product scope

Experience working with researchers in an academic environment
-
Experience and ability to influence/resolve blockers

Experience in navigating complex decisions across technology and business areas, clearly articulate options, and use personal influence to define the resolution within product space

Experienced in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
Salary Range: $115000 - $132000 / year
