Job description
The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies is seeking a freelance Virtual Event Producer ZOOM Technician to support the Omega Digital department on the Rhinebeck, NY campus May through October 2023. The streaming producer will support hybrid/live events that feature a stage presentation with a live audience and incorporate video and audio from remote participants and speakers via Zoom. This role requires advanced knowledge and experience with vMix, Zoom ISO, and Blackmagic ATEM for hybrid event production. Familiarity with mindfulness and personal development content is a plus.
Essential Functions

Lead the setup and execution of live hybrid events

Operate and troubleshoot live streaming equipment

Work with the Omega Digital production team to ensure high-quality live streams and a seamless user experience
Qualifications

Ability to work on-site at Rhinebeck, New York campus several weekends per month May - October

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure in a live production environment

Expertise in vMix, Zoom, Zoom ISO/OSC

Experience with Video over IP and NDI

Experience with Bitfocus Companion and Elgato Stream Deck a plus

Experience with Loopback and Dante Virtual Soundcard for audio routing across live and digital environments a plus
