Job description
The Regional Process Technology Manager will manage various plant processes and systems and technologies. Interfaces with several plant stakeholders. The primary focus of this position is to work closely with operations and Technical labs to troubleshoot, develop, and implement strategies to continuously improve plant operations. This position can be based in any of our Powder Coatings Facilities and will travel 25-50% of time. Locations include: Gainesville, Tx, Greensboro, NC, Brazil, IN, Grand Haven, MI, Strongsville, OH, Chicago, IL
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Regional expert for plant technical issues by providing proactive analytical skills to troubleshoot and problem solve process within the plants.
- Collaborate with Technical on new product development, leading Introduction of new technologies and scale up process in all plants in the region.
- Lead all product transfers among USCA region as well as different regions.
- Lead Process Engineer roundtable aligning consistency and prioritizing Process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as Regional Continuous improvement leader, supporting regional projects as well as managing progress of plant specific projects.
- Network with other Global Process Engineering team, sharing and implementing best practices in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related technical field preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with Powder Coatings
- Working knowledge of process improvement, process design and optimization, and quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Ability to successfully manage Regional Teams.
- Proven Experience with Project Management
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
