Prior Authorization Specialist The Urology Group
Job description
The Urology Group is searching for a Prior Authorization Specialist. The position is full time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm in our Norwood billing office. After 6 months training period is complete, this position offers a hybrid model with a blend of in-office and remote work.
Duties:
- Contact insurance companies by phone, or online, to obtain prior authorizations for surgeries and medications
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year related work experience
Requirements:
- Positive attitude
- Keen attention to detail
- Previous similar experience
- Excellent communication skills
