The Foundry Ministries has an immediate opening for a Pricer (Cullman, AL). The Pricer is primarily responsible for the processing, pricing, and preparation for all saleable items for the thrift enterprises.
It is the duty of the Pricer to hold to the mission, vision, and core values of The Foundry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibility Description:
- Performs final sort of donations to determine value of each item based on style, quality, and condition in connection with its original value
- Assists Production team to ensure that all procedures and protocol are followed by staff, volunteers, and program participants
- Partners with Production team to maintain order, cleanliness, and safety of production areas
- Provides exemplary service and always presents a professional attitude when interacting with program participants and coworkers
- Partners with leadership to address issues regarding program participants
- Consistently achieves daily Production goals.
Employment Readiness Program Management:
- Ensure that program participants consistently provides exemplary customer service
- Communicate with recovery program staff on issues and concerns
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate, or GED
- Retail sales and/or thrift store production
Experience:
- Retail sales and/or thrift store production
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, stoop, and move around Production/Distribution Center area for eight (8) hours or more per work shift
- Must be able to follow safety protocol specific for Production/Distribution Center to lift, push, or pull racks or other storage devices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting information in person or via various communication channels (telephone, email, social media)
- Servant leader
- Quick learner and enjoys the challenge of taking on new assignments
- Willingness to be a team player
