Responsibilities:

As an educator at Love and Jerry Road to Excellence Academy, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with our curriculum guidelines and educational objectives.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies and providing additional support as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure open communication and a positive learning experience.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and contribute to the growth and improvement of our academy.
• Actively promote the values and mission of Love and Jerry Road to Excellence Academy within the community.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with children in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A strong passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving educational environment.

Experience:

• Childcare: 2 years (Required)
• Early Learning: 2 years (Required)
• Teaching: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
