River Valley Power and Sport of Red Wing is looking for an A-level powersport technician to join our team immediately. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, reliable, and has a large amount of on-road, off-road mechanic experience- snowmobile, scooters, UTV, ATV. The powersports technician will perform maintenance and repairs on all types of powersport product and have a fully sufficient shop operation including a parts department, service writer, lot staff, detailers, and Director of Service right in-house. Primary brands are Can-Am and Polaris.
Compensation: is based on experience, certifications, and qualifications of applicant $30-40/hour. Pay structure is a base hourly wage + piecework/commission based on efficiency
Schedule: We offer fulltime work 52 weeks out of the year (4:10's off season and 5: 8-10's in season). Most work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (5 8s) or 6am-4 or 7am-5 (4 10s)
Requirements: Must have degree in powersports mechanics ANDS experience. Additional certifications and/or ability to become certified is a plus
Responsibilities: Service-diagnose-troubleshoot-repair- set ups- run ups- Routine service inspections, test, repair and engine work and other major components- Repair and install electronic accessories, etc Move product, trailers, motors with company vehicle, forklift, tractor, etc Complete with the service writer provides in a timely manner. Utilize Lightspeed EVO, and all other manufacturer service software
