Pay is $15.00 per Hour.- 1st Shift 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM M-Th, 5:30 AM - 11:30 AM F

Summary of Position:
The operator is responsible for setting up and operating polishing equipment/machines to remove excess material, smooth, and polish internal and external surfaces
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow the router for specific processing instructions
- Manual and automatic polishing ID and OD surfaces
- Fixture parts and position tooling for proper polishing
- Inspect parts using gauges, microscopes and surf analyzer to verify quality
- Maintain stock of tooling and materials, report inventory needs to Supervisor
- Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machine and controls are working properly
- Wash parts in between polishing sequences and inspect before moving to next op
- Perform routing maintenance on equipment
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Must have basic math, English, and spelling skills
- Manual dexterity, physical activity that requires considerable use of hands and arms
- Knowledge of polishing lathes, mill, and associated tooling
