At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests. This position is a high-volume customer service focused position. No experience is required, full training is provided.

POSITION SUMMARY:

It is the primary responsibility of the Poker Clerk to make fills on poker tables and assist players in the purchasing of chips.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the procedures and rules of all poker games and tournaments offered
• Provide game and tournament information
• Make exchanges correctly when exchanging money or chips
• Provide accuracy and efficiency to guests at all times
• Maintain the game list and seat players in games requested
• Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Working knowledge of Poker games
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
