Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for managing, planning, directing, organizing, and developing strategic manufacturing capabilities and executing a strategic plan for manufacturing excellence in the Gardena, California location.

Essential Functions

  • Drives continuous improvement in environmental compliance, health, and safety.
  • Ensures company compliance with all established company and corporate policies, procedures, and governmental regulations pertaining to plant safety or environmental issues.
  • Drives quality improvements through traditional Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities, audits, root cause analysis using ZDP techniques.
  • Oversees all manufacturing operations, gives direction, resolves problems, sets deadlines to ensure that all company manufacturing objectives are met.
  • Reviews financial and budgetary reports, cost data, to assure plant operations meet company profitability and financial objectives. Provides documented plans for:
  • Pipelines projects to meet required savings.
  • 6S performance and improvement.
  • Recovery of underperforming areas / equipment against standard.
  • Monitors production schedules and production process to assure customer delivery dates are met.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and plans for plant capital needs and completes capital requests in accordance with corporate requirements.
  • Assists in developing and implementing manufacturing labor policies.
  • Assists in determining manufacturing manning and employment levels.
  • Directs the workforce to meet company labor objectives.
  • Keeps abreast with metals industry state of the art and technological advancements to assist the company in maintaining its manufacturing efficiency and competitive ability.
  • Supervises, directs, evaluates the job performance of all direct reports within the manufacturing organization.
  • Makes presentations, conducts meetings, and communicates with all levels of the corporation pertaining to manufacturing-related activities.
  • Shares best practices within the organization.
  • Leads by example, instilling skillsets and mindsets, in order to drive continuous improvement; coaches and develops employees; leads cross-functional teams.
  • Assists all teams as needed to ensure improvements are made and sustained.
  • Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and Sox guidelines.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Engineering, Material Science, or Manufacturing Management) or equivalent management, technical experience in a like industry.
  • Three-five years’ experience in progressively responsible manufacturing positions is required; previous experience managing and mentoring direct reports required.


Additional Notes

This position will be based in Gardena, CA, but may require regular travel to other Revert facilities.

Relocation is authorized for this position.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $110000 to $125000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
