As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for Silgan Closures Hazleton, PA manufacturing facility. In this role, you will direct and coordinate the manufacturing and purchasing efforts to achieve set goals relating to safety, quality, product safety, financial objectives, on-time deliveries, and inventory levels. What you’ll do:

• Ensure a safe working environment to achieve and/or maintain an accident-free workplace
• Formulate and implement medium-to-long range manufacturing strategies to assure the future advantage and position of the plant to be the most-efficient producer of closures
• Establish and implement effective budgeting, cost controls, and cost reduction programs that assure the Plant’s operational cost targets are achieved
• Establish a results-oriented culture that measures and evaluates individual and team performance based on defined accountabilities, responsibilities, and objectives to create the best team of individuals in managing the performance of the Plant

What you’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum ten (10) years related operations experience.
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
