Job description
Physical Therapy Practice is seeking a Licensed Medical Doctor to provide medical evaluations and treatment for adult and adolescent patients, in an Outpatient Physical Therapy Practice. The MD will use their expertise in primary care and family health to provide high quality health care and medical education to patients and collaborate with a highly skilled team of Clinician's to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
The MD Position is available in Norfolk and Newport News, VA.
Some MD Responsibilities -
MD will work with a diverse mix of patients.
MD will Instruct patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications.
Perform physical examinations, compile medical data/histories and implement treatment plans on new and existing patients.
Monitor patients and administer medications according to Clinics policies.
Work closely with clinic support staff.
Oversee Physician Assistants.
Provide follow-up care to patients according to Clinics policies.

Annual Salaries from $150,000 - $200,000 (Salaries vary based on skills and experience).

Some MD Requirements -
Must be licensed or in the process of being licensed by the Board of Medicine, in the State of Practice.
Be available Monday - Friday, some mornings starting at 7/8 AM and some afternoon shifts ending at 7 PM. (No weekends or nighttime hours, 40 hours per week schedule)
Be available for a travel between the Norfolk and Newport News clinic locations.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
