We are a dynamic department of an active subacute rehab facility serving 100+ subacute patients and LTC residents in our Bennington facility. We do have a sister facility in Hoosick Falls, NY, and do have staff trained and licensed to work in both as needed. We are looking for an independent, knowledgeable, therapist that is looking be a team player in our patient focused department.

Our department of OT, PT and ST work closely together to help our patients and residents reach their maximum functional level. We are anxious to find the right person to expand our rehab department join our team, We hope it is you!

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' condition and develop goals and treatment plans for physical therapy
  • Treat patients to improve their functional mobility, balance and reach their goals.
  • Supervise PTAs in treatment
  • Set care plans for mobility during patient stay
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to maximize function and facilitate the best outcomes
  • Communicate with patients and families on patient status and needs for discharge at interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Doctorate (or Grandfathered in BS/MS) Degree in physical therapy from an accredited school
  • Prior physical therapy experience is required. Subacute or Rehab setting is a plus.
  • Vermont licenses is required. (NY license is also beneficial)
  • Health Care Provider BLS required within 90 days of hire and current CPR certification required.
