Job description

A clinical laboratory who offers customers and patients Phlebotomy services, QA & QC programs, state-of-the-art equipment, etc. is looking a Phlebotomy Manager with managerial experience managing at least a team of 25+ Phlebotomists. This is an operational/managerial role who will be overseeing the teams of Phlebotomists at multiple locations.

You will NOT be performing Phlebotomist duties such as bloodwork, specimens, etc. or need to be certified.

Responsibilities:

• The Manager role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others
• You will manage and oversee all aspects of service centers and client locations
• Coordinate phlebotomists schedules
• Responsible for all Phlebotomist teams at locations
• Ensure all equipment is operational and necessary supplies are available
• Hire and Train Phlebotomists to fill any open positions
• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve and document problems, prepare problem documentation and report critical issues as they occur.
• Ensure staff is following all safety precautions
• Will be required to act as a coach, mentor, instructor and resource advisor for new employees, as well as be the point of contact to staff on-site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
• 25% travel to work multiple locations (Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale area and out-of-state if and when needed)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience and/or Specialized in phlebotomy training
• Team lead/Supervisor/Managerial experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
