Phlebotomist Portland, ME

Part-time, 3 days per week (T, W, Th)

$224 per day plus bonuses of up to an extra $100/day = $324/day

We are looking for a phlebotomist to join our medical team in Portland, ME. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work Part-time, 3 days per week (T, W, TH), making $224 per day plus bonuses. The ideal candidate would have 1 year experience in Phlebotomy. We are seeking someone who can multi-task, stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment while running our lab and drawing blood.

About us:

We are a busy, highly organized multidisciplinary physical medical office in Portland, ME. We specialize in the use of advanced regenerative medicine to treat arthritis, sports related injuries, and chronic pain. We are looking for a phlebotomist to perform blood draws, prepare injections and turning rooms over for the provider. This position is a flexible part-time role and perfect for a highly qualified phlebotomist looking for additional income and competitive pay.

Essential Duties:

• Manage the lab
• Assist the other healthcare professionals
• Phlebotomy (perform blood draws)
• Manage inventory
• Manage patient flow
• Maintain hygienic/sterile techniques
• Ensure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient

Additional Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a commitment to goals, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct, dress, verbal, and demeanor always
• Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff

Requirements:

• Phlebotomy experience
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent bed side manor required
• Must be a team player

Schedule:

• Part time (3 days per week to start but looking to add a 4th day in January)
• Tues, Wed, and Thursday

Compensation:

• $224 per day plus bonuses
• Additional 15% target bonus that ranges from $33.60/day at target and $100/day at maximum. The bonus has historically paid above target.
