Shift Hours:
0.20 FTE (8 hours/week), days/pms/weekdays and weekends
Job Description:
Screens, assesses, designs, and delivers one-on-one training of individuals and groups for general health and wellness needs. Demonstrates ability to work independently and within a team, multi-task, and create programs.
Qualifications:
High school education preferred prior to 6/7/09; post 6/7/09 bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Recreation, Health Science, Wellness, or five years of experience in a related field required.
Prior to 6/7/09 Personal Trainer Certification and a minimum of three related certifications OR bachelor’s degree required; CPR within six months of employment into position required; post 6/7/09 certification within six months from one of the following required: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM); and Personal Trainer certification or related/equivalent within two years of hire into position required.
